As a fitting event to cap the 109th celebration of the Civil Service Month, NRO XI launched its Citizen’s Charter on September 30 at the RDC XI Convention Center, witnessed by important guests from government agencies, local government units (LGUs), business sector and the NRO officials and staff, themselves.
“The Citizen’s Charter represents NEDA’s systematic effort to focus on its commitment towards its stakeholders to improve efficiency in the delivery of its services by reducing bureaucratic red tape and preventing graft and corruption, as well as to promote a culture of excellence in NEDA,” RD Maria Lourdes D. Lim announced during the opening ceremony.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS (LGUS), NATIONAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES (NGAS), STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES (SUCS), PRIVATE PEOPLE’S ORGANIZATION CAN AVAIL OF THE NEDA KR2 PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
The NEDA-KR2 Productivity Enhancement Project can provide funding support to community agri-based activities than aim to enhance productivity and increase rural income of underprivileged farmers, augmenting national resources available for such activities in the process.
The activities to be supported under the Project are catalytic in nature, and essentially are applications of best practices, pilot testing of new techniques/processes/ procedures, prototyping or applications of new products or technologies, as well as innovative value-formation initiatives leading to enhanced productivity. These activities will also be complementary and closely aligned or linked to national and local government economic and social programs for replication, thereby contributing to the achievement of the government’s envisioned development goals.
Proponents are given the flexibility in terms of the component/s of the proposal.
